Elected Members of the Regional Council and Quayside met at the Rangiuru Business Park site today. The interchange across the TEL is set to open next Friday so we took the opportunity to get a view from from the bridge.

Exciting developments are underway with all essential underground services like water, power, and fibre already in place, while the roads are undergoing sealing. Soon we will see vertical infrastructure appearing. The sales team is receiving a positive response, hinting at forthcoming announcements.

Adjacent to the industrial park, a wetland project is taking shape with plans for approximately 4 km of tracks. This initiative aims to serve as a runoff collection point and a filtration system to ensure the release of clean water back into the environment. Collaborating with Tapuika, the area is set to be planted with over half a million plants.

The project has not only created direct employment opportunities for over 200 individuals on-site but has also generated numerous ancillary roles, providing a significant boost to the local economy.
